Medicine for the millions

Brazil has a population of over 200 million, two-thirds the size of the US population, and the country may turn out to be one of the largest pharmaceutical markets in the world. According to data obtained from Interfarma, in 2017 Brazil occupied eighth position in the global ranking of pharmaceutical markets, and in 2021 it is expected to reach fifth position.
